D names!

We are now on D names!!! I actually am not a fan of very many D names but here we go! The top D name for each gender is Daniel and Destiny. Daniel is number 8 and means God is my judge, while Destiny is at number 71! and obviously, Destiny means.... you guessed it! Destiny! Daniel is defiantly my favorite D boys name but I also like Dean, Dashiell, and Darien!

and for my girls I love Delilah, Delia, Day, and Demi!

soo this was a really short name blog so I will post another short one in a little bit when I come up with an idea for one :)

So now you know what I mean by Cr8ive right? well I like the classic way of spelling names, it doesn't cause confusion...

But I also understand why parents would give their kids a different spelling of a name, It's unique! If your going to give your child a popular name, give them a unique spelling right? in my oppinion, Wrong! no body will be abble to pronounce little Meeuh's name right the first time. And poor Aliksandar will have to spell his name out for everyone the rest of his life!

NEW Most Popular baby Names!!!!

so today the top 1000 baby names of 2011 were released :)!!! im going to comment on the top 10 names and tell how much they went up or down! I will also put possible nicknames for the name on here too! at the end I will give alternatives for all the names!

GIRLS:
1. Sophia- I love Sophia much more than Isabella! Sophia went up one spot. I also love the nickname Sophie!

2. Emma- I am not crazy about Emma, but its alright... It also moved up one spot. the nicknames Em and Emmy are good for Emma

3. Isabella- I have never liked the name Isabella. Isabella went down 2 spots. Possible nicknames are Isa, Bella, and Belle

4. Olivia- Olivia stayed put at a nice 4. I am alright with Olivia. some nn are Liv, Olive, Livvi, and Ollie

5. Ava- Ava is in my top three favorites from the top ten. Ava also stayed in the same spot and there is one nn, Ave (what we call my little sis whos name is similar)

6. Lily- My favorite name in the top ten, it went up 11 spots! the nn Lil is possible for Lily!

7. Chloe- I dislike Chloe more than I dislike Isabella! It went up 2 spots. there are no nn that I can think of...

8. Madison- Like Emma, I am not crazy for Madison. Madison stayed in the same spot. Madi is a nice nn for Madison

9. Emily- I really dislike this name! I am so glad it went down 3 spots! The nn's Em. Emmy and Mily are good!

10. Abigail- This s also in my top 3 favorites for the top ten! It went down 3 spots. the nn's Abby and Gail are nice :)

1. Aiden- I am neutral on this name, if it were not so poular i would like it. Aiden went from 9 to 1! there are not any nn for Aiden

3. Mason- Another boys name I am suprised I like! Mason went up 11 spots! there are not any nn

4. Liam- This used to be my favorite boys name, until I realized how popular it was. Liam went up 26 spots! there are no nn for Liam

6. Jayden- I think this name is just so trashy and unappealing! It went down 2 spots the nn Jay is nicer than Jayden

Well today I have decided to start an ABC's name series and everyday for the next 26 26 days I will post a few names I like from each letter of the alphabet! lets get started!

A Names

So to start off I am going to list the most popular boys A name and the most popular girls A name!

Ava for a girl (meaning Like a bird)

and Alexander for a boy (meaning Defending Warrior)

Next I will tell you a few names I like that start with A

GIRLS:

Adele- I think Adele is sooooo pretty and not as popular as other Ad- names like Addison or Ada

Alia- Alia is also very pretty and sweet sounding (pronounced uh-lye-uh)

Agnes- Although this is a very old lady-ish sounding name, I think it would be beautiful on a little girl!

Annabelle- I think Annabelle is great and it has soooo many nicknames like Anna,Anne, Belle, Bella, Elle, Ellie!

Aurora- I think I like this one mainly because it has the same meaning as my moms middle name so i may use it one day :)

August- I love the name August because it is the only masculine month name I that is "normal"

Atticus- I fell in love with this namewhen I read "To Kill A Mockingbird" and have loved it ever since!

I like the old-fashioned-but-cool kind of names

my favorite boys names are Atticus, Felix, Phineas, and Tobias are all really cool names (in my opinion!)

I also like girls names like Celia, Evangeline, Florence, Genevieve, Matilda and Violet!

I like some names that are considered "Hipster", like Annabelle, August, Delilah,Jude, Hazel, Hudson, Ivy, June, Leonora, Milo, Theo, Ruby, and Scarlett.

A few things I would take into consideration when choosing names

1. will the name age well?
2. do I want a name that has any nicknames?
3. would a child with this name be made fun of?
4. does this name flow well with the middle name? (examples; Matteo Jude flows much better than Matteo Kyle, and Adele Ivy Flows better that Nora Ivy)
